2023 was undoubtedly Shah Rukh Khan’s year in which three of his successful films were released. ‘Jawan’ is one of them and thankfully I have experienced watching this film in theatre. Watching SRK after years in the cinema has its own charm. Atlee Kumar has done a marvelous job gathering the Bollywood legends SRK and Deepika with the famous South Indian super stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
3. Darr
90s Shah Rukh in a villain role is heavier than the hero’s character always. Be it ‘Anjam’, ’Darr’ or ‘Baazigar’, his acting has always given a chilling experience to the audience. Rahul’s crazy obsession for Kiran knows no limits and goes to any extent for his love towards her. Deepika is said to be a lucky charm for SRK and ‘Chennai Express’ is one of the reasons for that. 5. Dil Wale Dulhaniya Le Jaenge
Here comes the film we all were already expecting. This is the first romantic movie of Khan opposite Kajol which set the goals of love much higher for every lover and we cannot much agree. Released in 1995, this film portrays the beautiful love story of Raj and Simran which has developed in the beautiful Europe and is completed in a small village of India. This is an absolute gem by Yash Chopra.
6. Chak De! India
Khan is usually known for his romantic roles but trust me, he as a patriotic hockey coach is a treat to the eyes. Released in 2007, this film was made with a budget of two hundred million INR but ended up doing a box office business of more than a billion INR. Film shows the story of Kabir Khan, former captain and current football coach who trains the team not to win for themselves but for India.
7. My Name Is Khan
Karan Johar has done a wonderful job. This is what we all said upon the release of ‘My Name is Khan’ in 2010. Starring Kajol as Mandira and Shah Rukh Khan as Rizwan Khan, the film is about the consistency and courage of a guy with Asperger’s Syndrome to save his relationship with his wife after their lives were affected by the 9/11 attacks. The purity of inter-faith marriage never seemed so beautiful and sacred.
8. Mohabbatein
Yash Raj Films’ ‘Mohabbatein’ was released in 2000. The film was made with a 130 million INR budget and earned nine hundred million INR at the box office. This movie shows that love is for the soul and not for the body. Even though your loved one is no longer alive, the love will always be alive and fresh. SRK opposite Aishwariya Rai and Amitabh Bachan is itself a dream to watch and the dream came true this way.

9. Don
The iconic chemistry between Priyanka Chopra and Shah Rukh Khan was seen for the very first time when the couple paired up for Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don’ in 2006. SRK in dual role has its own charm. Although it is a remake of 1978’s film of the same name, this movie gained commercial success and is a massive hit with a box office business of over 1 billion Indian rupees.
10. Pathaan
You will be amazed to know that this is the first Hindi film to be released in Bangladesh since 1971.
